Whitelock’s & The Turks Head Beer Festival 2024: A celebration of Leeds’ most loved breweries

Whitelock’s Leeds & The Turks Head annual beer festival is back for another year. This year the theme is Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!

The festival will feature beers from local Leeds favourites, Kirkstall, North and Northern Monk alongside offerings from the likes of Piglove, Meanwood, Bini and Bosun’s.

The Whitelock’s team have also brewed some special collaborations with Amity and Anthology for the event.

Our friends from Tartarus Brewery will also be bringing some very special unique beers.

Alongside the beers, there will be some festival specials from our kitchen and excitingly we’ll also be launching a brand new range of Whitelock’s merchandise. A limited number will be available to buy behind the bar.

Mike Hampshire from Tours of Leeds, will also be hosting a very special ticketed ‘Heritage Tales of Whitelock’s’ evening, exploring the history of our pub.

Talking about the festival, Assistant General Manager Kotryna said “Our annual beer festival is always a highlight of our summer. This year we decided to celebrate all things Leeds, our city’s rich pub heritage and thriving beer scene.

As Leeds’ oldest pub it seems like the perfect fit. We are looking forward to showcasing the best of Leeds brewing and breweries. We can’t wait to welcome you to the festival.”

Whitelocks Ale House Beer Garden

Lying at the heart of the city centre, Whitelocks in Leeds is one of the oldest pubs in the city, known for showcasing the best local ales and food suppliers and having one of the best beer gardens in Leeds.

Attracting both residents and tourists from Leeds and beyond, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing beverage after a long day of exploring the city centre.

Leeds! Leeds! Leeds! The Whitelock’s and The Turks Head Beer Festival will be held between 20th – 23rd June 2024. Entry to the festival is FREE.
