Over 100 stalls will take over Parliament Street with a wide range of street food, including British Street Food Award Winners Market Wraps, Shambles Kitchen, Smokin’ Blues, the Donut Kitchen and more, all of which you can wash down with Real Ale or Champagne in the bar. Live music will also take place each evening.

On the two Saturdays of the Festival the markets will also extend down Fossgate, which will be lined with stalls from small, local producers of liquers, vegan cakes and stalls from Fossgate’s businesses.
This year’s theme Explore the Taste of York, showcases York’s independent food and drink businesses. Pick up a Taste Trail (£5 one or £8 two) and taste your way around cafes, delis, bars & restaurants. In each venue you’ll receive a delicious sample and a discount offer. If it’s Ale you’re in to, collect a free Ale Trail and collect stamps when you purchase a drink in listed pubs. Delicious highlights of this year’s evening events include a 7 course tasting menu from Skosh at the Guildhall, two nights with Ambiente, an English Fizz Tasting and a Chocolate Dinner and Wine Tasting with Choc Affair & The Wine Chapter.
