Flavours Food Festival at Elsecar Heritage Centre | 19th – 20th October 2019
Flavours Food Festival makes a welcome return to Elsecar Heritage Centre following its 2018 success. Packed full of foodie fun, music and live entertainment, it promises to be an action-packed weekend for food lovers and families alike.
Nestled in the historic village of Elsecar, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of South Yorkshire, the weekend is a two-day celebration for the senses. Offering mouth-watering delights from the region’s best local suppliers, complemented by an array of street food and drink vendors and a plethora of boutique independent traders to explore, the festival is certainly a highlight in the diary for all Yorkshire foodies.
Michelin award-winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, will be headlining over the entire weekend. He will be holding a meet and greet with fans and cooking up a storm in lively cookery demonstrations over the two days. Other chef demos include – Karen Wright of Great British Bake Off fame, Tosin Dayo-Oyekole of Oso Cook and Tim Bilton of Cannon Hall Farm.
If that wasn’t enough, there will be an eclectic selection of live bands performing over the two days on the Sauce Pan Stage and family-friendly entertainment will be appearing all around the site.
The family-friendly festival will feature fun for all ages with performances, games, entertainment from Hallam FM and activities to keep the youngsters amused. While here why not explore the original Earl Fitzwilliam’s Workshops, now converted into a series of independent shops, antique centre, play area and quaint cafes.
PLEASE NOTE: No additional ticket is needed to watch Jean-Christophe Novelli, this is included as part of the overall ticket cost.
