Yorkshire Pudding Festival, Leeds
Yorkshire folk everywhere rejoice; the highly anticipated Yorkshire Pudding Festival is back for 2022 and it’s one of the most exciting events in Yorkshire. This year, the Yorky Pudd team are going bigger, ‘batter’ and bolder on their quest to find out just how versatile Yorkshire’s humble ‘side dish’ can really be.
What’s On
Expect food stalls with cuisines from all over the world (inside Yorkshire Puddings of course), multiple bars, craft & charity stalls, cooking demos & bake-offs, live music throughout the entire weekend on the Gravy Stage, and a kids activity area.
One of the bars will be run by the Yorkshire Pudding Beer Brewery who will be showcasing their Yorkshire Pudding Beer, Yorkshire Pudding Whisky, Yorkshire Pudding and Strawberry Jam Vodka, Yorkshire Pudding and Strawberry Jam Gin and Yorkshire Pudding Pink Gin!
What’s more, this year’s festival will be having a Pudd Pro’s tent, where our celeb chefs will be running various cooking demos for the crowds throughout the entire weekend.
Expect to be shown how to make the perfect rising pudd and how to make gluten-free and vegan versions of Yorkshire’s favourite dish.
There will also be a Pudd Off challenge open to all attendees to enter, to battle it out to prove they make the best Yorkshire Puddings in Yorkshire. Know someone who would be up to the challenge? Get them entered! Or why not enter our Scoff Off competition and try to eat as many Yorkies as you can in 3 minutes!
With activities for all the family, a dedicated kids area and celebrity chef food demos happening, you won’t be short of things to do! Who’s ready to eat their body weight in Yorkshire Puddings?
