Spice and Ice was formed with the complete vision to bring Indian spice to the heart of Doncaster, accompanied with specialised ice cocktails/mocktails located in one of Doncaster's most historic buildings from the 1800's previously known as Cheshire Cheese pub.
Established in 2016 by founders and Doncaster stalwarts, Ram and Krishna Odedra, Spice and Ice’s food is characterised by its sophisticated and subtle use of exotic spice and fresh ingredients.
At the heart of the kitchen, Head Chef Amardeep Singh Anand was featured on MasterChef The Professionals back in 2011, and has also won a variety of awards including Asian Chef of the Year 2012 and the Asian Chef of the Year Healthy Heart award for his minimal use of oils in his cooking.
Their menu ranges from old traditional favourites, to their take on British cuisine with an Indian influence. Examples include their Crispy soft shell crab, Granny Smith Apple & mix leaf salad, crab cake, mango and mint dressing starter, Yorkshire Dales Rack of Lamb, jeeralyonnaise potato, sauteed asparagus and roast rogan josh gravy and Pan seared Gressingham Duck Breast, orange & plum sauce, peas & caramelised onion rice.
Not only showcasing some of the best Indian cuisines, Spice and Ice showcase paintings from Terry Chipps a local artist based in Doncaster.
A unique dining experience for this area of Yorkshire, in stylish surroundings.
