The Old House Hull

Owners Shoot the Bull, Food Awards England Winners and British Street Food Awards finalists provide fine dining at a casual price and award-winning 'restaurant style street food', located in The Old House - Hull's oldest domestic building.

Located in the bustling old town district of Hull down the historical Scale Lane, being Hull’s oldest domestic building, The Old House is a quirky and full of character gastropub.

Chef Chris Harrison is an experienced Chef of over 10 years, having worked in award-winning and Michelin starred restaurants across the country. Expect comfort food classics with a twist, focusing on local and seasonal produce. From Seared King Scallops to Yorkshire Wagyu Beef, Sweet potato Gnocchi for the veggies and Chris’s award-winning signature dish of Blow Torched Mackerel.

The quality of their drinks is also considered with over 20 gins and 40 craft beers already in-house and the introduction of local wine from Little Wold Vineyard in Yorkshire’s historic town of South Cave.

Don’t miss your chance to try Shoot The Bull’s very own gin. Created by Shoot The Bull’s staff, with the help of Humber Street Distillery. Expect notes of Lime Zest, Cucumber and a light spice from Hickory-Smoked Chilli. What’s more, 5% of all their gin sales goes back to their staff.
