Wentworth Woodhouse is a stately home located just outside of Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The building boasts the largest façade of any country house in England. Enjoy an afternoon tea like no other, served in the stunning Long Gallery, featuring the best local and seasonal ingredients.

In the Wentworth Woodhouse Long Gallery, you’ll find columns, arch windows, and gold trim mirrors that create a majestic afternoon tea setting.

Wentworth Woodhouse’s afternoon tea features finger sandwiches made with fresh locally-baked bread, homemade cakes, and loose-leaf teas. The provenance of ingredients is a huge part of their afternoon tea and they aim to source as many of their ingredients from Yorkshire, as close to Wentworth, as possible.

Afternoon tea is served on Wedgwood’s Old Country Roses Royal Albert fine china. Inspired by an English country garden in full bloom, it is the perfect pairing for enjoying the view of the gardens from the Long Gallery.
