Trinity Live | Trinity Market, Hull | Thursday 23rd May
All throughout the Spring season, Trinity Market in Hull has been hosting their very own live music festival to celebrate the region’s best musical talent. Their May bank holiday special features a variety of live acts including some indie pop tunes from All Gone South and some lovely vocals from local singer Matt Crossland.
You can also visit some of Trinity Market’s famous food and drink vendors and bring the whole family for a fun day out. It’s a great way to welcome in the bank holiday at this May bank holiday event.

Sheffield Food Festival | Saturday 25th – Monday 27th May
Sheffield Food Festival will be returning to the Steel City on the May Bank Holiday, bringing an exciting blend of great local produce, mouthwatering street food, talented chefs and outstanding brewers and distillers. Expect to see a spectacular selection of ready-to-eat delicious food cooked live for diners.
This year, there’ll be whole sections dedicated to different cuisines such as a Street Food section, Artisan Market, Info Village and of course the Main Stage and bar showcasing the best live music. This is set to be one of Yorkshire’s most exciting May Bank Holiday events!
Swaledale Festival | Saturday 25th May – Saturday 8th June
Celebrating the very best of all things music, arts and walking in the Yorkshire Dales, Swaledale Festival is back for 2024. Taking place across two weeks, there’s an action-packed programme of events to choose from.
Join a guided countryside walk through the dales followed by a live performance from a live sax quartet or Irish folk group. There are also plenty of workshops on offer including a live foraging session and poetry workshop amongst many others.

Grantley Hall recently re-launched their ‘Sunday Sessions’ in The Orchard for the spring and summer months.Expect a warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, refreshing cocktails and outstanding food at Yorkshire’s renowned five-star hotel.
Sessions are hosted each Sunday, so make the most of the longer evenings and enjoy acoustic sounds by a variety of local artists. Some more live music this bank holiday weekend for you! Three’s A Crowd in Leeds is also hosting their version of Sunday Sessions, featuring indie-folk singer Lucy Robinson. Enjoy a spot of live music while tucking into one of Three’s A Crowds’ famous Sunday roasts or while enjoying a drink or two. The Great British Food Festival at Harewood House is the perfect recipe for a fun, foodie day out where the whole family can get together.
