Specialising in excellent Sardinian cuisine, this family-run restaurant, bar and deli has been a real hit since joining the community.

Formerly the Kelham Island Museum show pub and event space, the venue underwent a makeover and transformed into The Millowners Arms we know now.

This multi-award-winning pub gained its reputation being Sheffield’s first independent real ale pub and is now known nationally for its specialist range of real ales which are brewed on-site by Kelham Island Brewery.
The venue oozes character with its original layout and traditional pub atmosphere in the industrial surroundings of Kelham Island. Order a homemade pie with your pint and you’ll leave very satisfied, I promise.

Saw Grinders Union
Another Kelham Island gem that had to be on our list of the best beer gardens in Sheffield. Saw Grinders Union is tucked away inside Globe Work’s courtyard and it has a huge outdoor space for all your rendezvous needs.
Top tip: Get both of the big dips. You won’t regret it. And if that wasn’t tempting enough already, they do pancakes on the weekend. Coffee, cocktails & craft beer. Count me in!

The Hallamshire House
Known locally as ‘The Tardis’, this unassuming pub operated by Thornbridge Brewery has several nooks to enjoy a pint in including a cosy games room and an oak-panelled snooker lounge with a full-sized snooker table.
The basement leads out into the ‘secret beer garden’ where you’ll find ample seating and live music on the weekend. You’ll have to venture out of town a bit for this boozer but it’s a worthy addition to the beer tour.
