This summer, The Devonshire Arms is making the most of the blue skies and beautiful scenery with some exciting seasonal dining offers. Expect picturesque Yorkshire Dales surroundings and a relaxed yet refined summer dining experience.
The Devonshire Arms Brasserie, early dining offer
Experience the warm summer days and long evenings of July with a visit to Bolton Abbey. A lovely country walk, followed by a meal at The Devonshire Arms Brasserie – a perfect day in the Yorkshire Dales.
Early diners can enjoy a 30% discount on The Devonshire Arms Brasserie’s summer menu. This offer is available on weekdays between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM or from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Take advantage of the outdoor Terrace, which features sweeping views across the Dales. Dine under a canvas awning outfitted with outdoor lights and sheepskin covers.
The Terrace menu includes a delicious variety of nibbles, sandwiches, light meals, sharing boards, and platters that can also be enjoyed inside.

Inside the summer dining continues with classic favourites, light bites, and appetisers.
Highlights include starters such as spiced lamb kofta and crab crumpet, mains like pan-fried stone bass, Butcher’s Chargrilled salt-aged Yorkshire steak, salt and pepper duck breast, and the classic battered East Coast haddock with triple-fried chips and mushy peas.
Both menus use locally-reared meats from nearby farms, as well as fish and seafood sourced from the North East and Yorkshire coast, along with several vegetarian options.
In line with their brand heritage, both the Terrace and Brasserie promote local ingredients, showcasing seasonal produce from the hotel’s kitchen gardens, the estate, and local farmers.

Weekend pizza on The Terrace
The weekend on the terrace is perfect for Pizza lovers. Join The Devonshire Arms on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm and tuck into three delightful pizza options.
Choose from smoked salmon with dill and crème fraîche, pepperoni topped with hot honey, red onion, and fresh chilli, and the classic heirloom tomato with mozzarella and basil.
There’s also garlic pizza bread, scrumptious fish finger butties, crisp salads, and lighter bites like salt and pepper crispy whitebait and tasty Aspen fries.
During the week, you can still enjoy this menu, minus the pizza specials, which are strictly for weekend enjoyment!
