The General Tarleton launches Scotch Egg loyalty card

Everyone has got a wallet full of loyalty cards for coffee shops, pubs, you name it. But what about a loyalty card for Scotch eggs?
Taking bar snacks by storm after reigning supreme as a ‘substantial meal’ during the pandemic, Scotch eggs are still very much having their moment in the foodie scene.
In response to their customers’ love for its signature Scotch eggs, The General Tarleton in Knaresborough has launched a loyalty scheme dedicated to the pub favourite.
Something of a local legend, their gooey-centred scotch eggs are made with woodland-reared pork and served with homemade brown sauce.

Now, their devoted following can collect a stamp with every scotch egg ordered, with the seventh on the house.
They’re available on the bar menu, as part of the £30 two-course lunch and early bird menu, and on the à la carte – it all depends on whether you are stopping for a pint and a snack or settling in for dinner.
The cards are a thank you from The General Tarleton to their regulars who keep coming back for them, and an invitation for newcomers to discover what all the fuss is about.
Pick up your very own Scotch egg loyalty card from Monday 26th October 2026 at the pub and start collecting ahead of The General Tarleton’s Scotch Egg Championships launching in 2027.
