Incredible Chef Line-up at the Great Yorkshire Show
Visitors to the popular Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate are in for a treat. Their new £11.5m exhibition hall is the size of three and a half Olympic swimming pools and will be host to a food emporium during the three-day agricultural extravaganza, which runs from Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th July 2016.
As well as hundreds of suppliers selling everything from chutney and chilli sauce and pork pies to popcorn, the Food Hall includes the Great Cheese and Dairy Show and a new Great Yorkshire Food Theatre.
This year we are spoilt for choice with the line-up of talented chefs from some of Yorkshire’s best restaurants, who will be demoing in the two cookery theatres; Great Yorkshire Food Theatre and Game Cookery Theatre in the Country Pursuits Area.
Here’s a taster of some of the incredible dishes that will be demonstrated:
TV celebrity Chef Rosemary Shrager will be making a welcome return to the Great Yorkshire Show. She will be teaming up with Ian Richardson (Head Butcher, Blacker Hall Farm Shop) at 11am in the Food Theatre on all event days, to make Beef stroganoff and beetroot matchsticks and they will be showing us how to cook the perfect steak.
