Kerala Canteen announce pint partnership with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

The South Indian favourite, Kerala Canteen, have announced that profits from their bestselling pint will go to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust in support of wildlife across Yorkshire.

50p from each pint of bestselling Malabar Giant IPA will be donated directly to the trust. The Kirkstall Brewery beer is a tribute to the Malabar squirrel, an endangered species native to the forests of Kerala.

The beer has a bold tropical flavour that has quickly become a favourite amongst taste buds at Kerala Canteen.

Bobby Geetha, Founder of Kerala Canteen said: “The Malabar Giant IPA is more than just a beer; it’s a celebration of biodiversity and the wild spirit that connects us across continents.

We’re proud to partner with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to support the incredible work they do right here in our local communities.”

With over 20 years of international experience, Chef Bobby’s restaurant is a huge success, boasting innovative menus that combine the rich culinary traditions of Kerala with modern fine dining techniques.

The donations from each pint of Malabar Giant IPA will help with the Yorkshire Wildlife’s mission to conserve Yorkshire’s natural heritage, support endangered species and enhance access to nature for future generations.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust said: “We are delighted to partner with Kerala Canteen on this unique and heartfelt initiative. It’s fantastic to see a local business championing conservation with such creativity.

“Every pint of Malabar Giant IPA enjoyed will help us in our mission to protect Yorkshire’s wildlife and wild places – something we know means a great deal to people across the region.”

If you fancy doing something as simple as drinking a pint to support such a great cause, book your table at Kerela Canteen.
