Celebrating The Park Restaurant’s 2nd Birthday with New Menu Launch

The 3 AA Rosette awarded The Park Restaurant York at Marmadukes Town House Hotel celebrated its 2nd birthday last Wednesday and what a celebration it was.

The evening brought together local businesses, repeat restaurant guests, friends, family and foodies alike to celebrate and sample the new restaurant tasting menu.

Guests were welcomed to the beautiful Marmadukes Town House Hotel and were treated to a prosecco reception with nibbles and canapés showcasing the new tasting menu.  Adam Jackson, Head Chef of The Park Restaurant, hosted the evening and provided a glimpse of what is on offer from their new menu.  Adam and his team put on a mouth-watering display of dishes including small plates of Japanese trout tartare, sesame, radish and pickled mayonnaise as well as mini bowls of chilled cucumber soup.

The ever so friendly staff circulated around the restaurant with plates of canapés including mini cups of miso soup, homemade cheese straws and pulled lamb shoulder bites.

Guests had the opportunity to meet and chat with head chef Adam Jackson whilst he plated up his delicious food for everyone to enjoy.  With the Yorkshire weather proving to be delightful, guests relaxed in the conservatory area as well as the outside garden. With prosecco and red wine flowing it proved to be a great evening of networking and socialising whilst enjoying the culinary excellence of the Park Restaurant.
