Can you face the heat of the kitchen? Ready Steady Cook comes to Leeds
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
In aid of Candlelighters, Yorkshire’s children’s cancer charity, an exciting interactive cookery challenge is coming to Leeds.
Hosted by Great British Bake Off contestant Briony May Williams, there are still a few spots left to join Ready Steady Cook.
For an incredible cause, the evening will challenge 20 eager teams to compete to create a two-course meal in two hours.

Using surplus ingredients supplied by Company Shop Group, each team will receive the same bag of ingredients and have access to additional ‘pantry items’.
Judges will evaluate the dishes, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
After the heat of the competition is done, all participants can sit down to enjoy in a 5-course tasting menu, served by Leeds City College.
There’s an option to invite additional guests to the meal for an additional £30 per head.

All proceeds go to Candlelighters, an incredible Leeds-based charity that supports children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
Priced at £550 per team of two, your entry includes everything you will need for the challenge, as well as the tasting menu.
For £750 per team you can enjoy the tasting menu, as well as having personalised chef’s whites to keep and a framed photo.
