Next on our bars in Sheffield list is the indie addition Public. A bar that was once described as ‘A Wes Anderson train carriage crowbarred into an old bog’, is now a firm favourite on the indie bar scene in the city.

Church – Temple of Fun
Welcome to your new place of worship. This bar set in the listed Osborn Works in the city’s Kelham Island/Neepsend neighbourhood brings a whole new meaning to the term quirky bars in Sheffield. Owned by rock band Bring Me The Horizon’s frontman, Oli Sykes, this bar is steeped in South American religious iconography.
