Private dining experts George Birtwell (MasterChef: The Professionals 2024 Finalist) and Samira Effa (Great British Menu 2024 competitor) are back for another showstopping event as The Epicurean Duo, this time hosted at Hutton Wandesley Stables.
Two highly skilled chefs bring a wealth of experience to the table. George is Head Chef of the events division at TB Hospitality under Michelin-starred Tommy Banks and Samira, a former head chef at Grantley Hall’s Bar & Restaurant EightyEight.
The event will take place on March 25th, featuring a welcome seasonal cocktail, 7 courses and optional wine pairings. It will be an amazing opportunity to watch accomplished chefs perform their craft in the kitchen.
The menu will include dishes such as Hutton Wandesley Estate venison with artichokes and locally sourced crab with XO sauce and Hollandaise. All ingredients will be showcasing local and seasonal produce, which is at the heart of what the duo do.
Hutton Wandesley Stables & Walled Garden is nestled in a 3000-acre private Estate in the Vale of York. The venue offers beautifully designed interiors in the renovated Stable block for private functions and events, including the stunning event barn, Botanicum. The private 2 1/2 acre Walled Garden offers guests idyllic tranquillity, just 7 miles from the city of York.
