Summer Unlocked Food & Drink Weekender Lineup
Expect food from The Savvy Baker, whose lockdown brownie business has taken Leeds by storm, and Luigi Street Food, whose Italian treats are a staple at Ilkley Food Festival and Chow Down. Honest Supper Club will bring plant-based Indian Street Food to convert even the most dedicated meat-eater, whilst Spud n Bro’s bring the much-loved Canadian favourite, poutine, to Bradford.

Live Music All Weekend
Summer unlocked will be providing free music all weekend with the likes of Buskival taking over the stage in City Park, with music from Ntantu, Lissy Davies, Sunflower Thieves and many more, whilst the Sunday will see a Musicial Calligraphy takeover with DJ Dipak Mistry and Razwan, combining the music of classical South Asian Ghazals and Qawwali with traditional Arabic calligraphy in an exciting visual performance from 11 am – 3 pm.
Summer Unlocked throughout the school holidays
‘Summer Unlocked’ is a family-friendly programme of free cultural and sporting events and activities taking place across the Bradford District throughout the school holidays, from July – September 2021. Summer Unlocked will bring to life the public spaces that have become so important to so many during the lockdown months – our streets, neighbourhoods and civic spaces, our moors, our gardens and our parks.
The Summer Unlocked Food & Drink Weekender will take place alongside a programme of live theatre, music, film and much more, with acrobatic displays on the canals, poetry in car parks and vibrant street art, all set to unlock imaginations across the district this summer.
