New Afternoon Tea With Blooming Sheep launches in Yorkshire
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
New to Yorkshire, Blooming Sheep is about to raise the baa for afternoon tea. Your usual cuppa and a cake is about to get a whole lot fluffier.
Blooming Sheep, a stunning rural escape tucked into the hills of Kirkby Overblow, is launching “Afternoon Tea with Ewe”, an utterly unique dining experience.

What can we expect from Blooming Sheep’s unique experience?
A classic afternoon tea will be lovingly prepared by Mama Doreen’s, which is one of our favourite spots for Afternoon Tea in Harrogate.
Guests can sip tea, nibble finger sandwiches, and feed biscuits to a friendly flock of sheep — all from the comfort of a paddock-side picnic table.
Launching Saturday 12th July, the 90-minute experience will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout July and August, with three sittings per day.

Savouries include homemade applewood & caramelised onion quiche, rosemary focaccia with smoked chilli chicken & dijon mayonnaise and a· sun-dried tomato and cheese scone with cream cheese, to name a few.
There will be plenty of sweet treats too, including a fresh scone with jam and clotted cream.

Of course, all served with a hot pot of tea or coffee. Delicious.
For children, there are simpler treats – sandwiches, a sheep biscuit, veggie sticks, yummy cakes, ice cream and a sweet bag to take home too!
Expect to meet four Valais Blacknose sheep, who are famously sociable and inquisitive in nature.
While you tuck into your tea, you can even feed the sheep their own snacks (gingernut biscuits, which you can purchase on site).
This unique day out is soon to be one of our favourite things to do in Yorkshire.
