The Whitby Restaurant Week comes to the coast for one week only

Whitby Restaurant Week is offering exceptional prices at over 16 venues this week.
Fond childhood memories lapping up the sun, half-melted Mr Whippy in hand by the 2p machines, Whitby is a true family day out.
However, it’s also a hub for great seafood, windswept cliffside walks and welcoming pubs, so we have no doubt that The Whitby Restaurant Week will prove a hit with locals and tourists alike.
Running throughout this week (3rd-9th March), 16 cafes and restaurants will be offering special set-price menus, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Organised by Visit Yorkshire, this week of foodie offers has proved successful in both Harrogate and Selby – supporting local businesses and encouraging people to try something new.
One venue taking part is Saltmoore, a new luxury wellness-led sanctuary with fantastic dining near Sandsend.
This Whitby Restaurant Week you can choose two courses at Saltmoore, with delicious seasonal options, including cod cheek scampi and moreish desserts including sticky toffee pudding and creme brûlée.

Other deals at this foodie celebration include a delicate afternoon tea at the iconic Bothams of Whitby, or steak for two at Bagdale Hall or a two-course meal at Sneaton Castle read the full list of participants here.
Make sure you don’t miss out, and take a look at some of our favourite dining destinations in Whitby if you’re visiting this seaside town.
