North Leeds Food & Drink Festival | 14th – 15th May 2022

Great British Food Festival, Harewood House, Leeds | 2nd – 5th June 2022

Chef demos, bake-off and cake offs, live music, bbqs, street food, foraging walks and kid-friendly fun in the lush grounds of Harewood House. With an enormous list of chefs whisking up something tasty in the live demo tent, including bake-off contestants Sandy Docherty and Phil Thorne.

Sheffield Food Festival May Bank Holiday Events Yorkshire

Sheffield Food Festival – 2nd – 5th June 2022 

Four whole days of great grub and smashing pints are what await you at Sheffield Food Festival. The annual weekender, now in its 10th year, offers local produce for foodies to dig into, as well as a hub of talent from Sheffield based businesses. Think the best of Steel City street food vendors, farmers, delis, ice cream parlours, and beekeepers. All spread across the city centre and coinciding with Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Based right next to the river Wharfe for that picturesque sunset scene and set over two days, the Ilkley Food Festival has everything you need for a family fun-filled weekend. Harrogate Food & Drink Festival | 25th – 26th June & 3rd – 4th September 2022

Family fun day on the grounds of Ripley Castle offers live music, chef demos from the region’s best restaurants, artisan craft stalls and the creme de la creme of food and drink all in a bubbling hub of creatives. Seafest - festivals in yorkshire

Seafest, Scarborough | 22nd – 24th July 2022

An annual maritime fest in the picturesque town of Scarborough. Live music acoustic gatherings, Old English red bus turned drinks bar and chefs from the local area representing their restaurants. Set on the pier with the backdrop of the water and a fireworks display, this salty celebration is one of the only Yorkshire Food Festivals to end the weekend with a bang.

Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival| 23rd – 24th July 2021

Have some family fun in the aptly named Funkirk Farm Camping grounds in the magnificent Yorkshire dales. Atop grassy fields in the grounds of the Talbot Hotel is Meadowfest. With a big top music stage being the main attraction, you can kick back on a deck chair with some street food and bubbly. Huddersfield Food Festival – 4th – 7th August 2022

The best of Huddersfield all under a tent roof. Celebrating all things local such as artisan markets, street food, seafood, international cuisine from restaurants of the local area, and more. Set in the grounds of Georges Square, it truly is a hub of local loveliness coming together in celebration of the North. This is one of the Yorkshire Food Festivals not to miss!

Malton Food Lovers Festival | 27th – 29th August 2021

Dubbed Yorkshire’s food capital, Malton’s annual Food Lovers Fest welcomes foodies from all over. Celebrating all things Yorkshire, expect to find locally reared and grown produce, cooked and presented by the people that guided the process of farm to fork. All the familiar features of a festival include artisan stalls, kids cookery classes, cask and craft ale bars, food tastings, live music and demos. It’s been described as ‘Yorkshire’s Foodie Glastonbury’, and it’s free entry!

York Food & Drink Festival | 23rd September – 2nd October 2022

If Yorkshire Food Festivals sprawling through the city centre sound more like your thing, then The York Food and Drink Festival could be the one for you this summer. With three separate festivals stretched from April to September, you have options. Sample the flavours of the Taster festival, a festival dedicated to all things chocolate, or experience the main event at their September Festival with live chef demo’s, art, stalls and kids baking fiestas.

Whitby Fish and Ships Festival

Whitby Fish & Ships Festival | 24th – 25th September 2022

For all you swashbuckling samplers, theres live chefs cooking up local fresh seafood at the Fish and Ships Fest. Take a tour of a real ships and trawlers in the harbour, as well as historical sailing museum, and a replica of the HM Bark Endeavour to explore. With a singing and dancing seafaring show in the line up too, head down to the docks to see what the fuss is about. You might even spot a pirate or two!

Yorkshire Pudding Festival - Eating

Yorkshire Pudding Food Festival | 1st – 2nd October 2022

With over 10,000 people turning up to last year’s event, this year’s Yorkshire Pudding Food Festival is going to be bigger and better than ever. Expect a multitude of different food stalls featuring cuisines from all over the world, all putting their own little Yorkshire pudding twist on their dishes. This year’s festival will also feature live music, cooking demos and a funfair with a children’s activity area.

Known to be the biggest global street food competition, Yorkshire is proud to host the Northern Heats in Leeds and the UK Finals in Hull, for the world-renowned awards. With the concept of ‘seasonal produce’ and ‘locally sourced’ at heart, the contestants create a hum drum of foodies chomping at the bit to sample some award-winning grub. With hot street food bites, booze, beer and belly-laughs shared with friends, the British Street Food Awards are not to be missed.
